Job Description
About us North Kimberley Airport is based on the Anjo Peninsular in the Kimberley. It is a 90-room camp that currently has 30 residents. We provide airfield services to the oil and gas industry and have helicopter companies based there. Flights from Darwin to the Airbase are provided, along with accommodation in ensuite rooms. WiFi is available throughout the camp for residents. We are seeking applications for a head chef.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Preparation of all food items as required, smoko, lunch, and dinner.
- Ordering of all food stocks.
- Catering as requested.
- Supervision of the Breakfast Chef.
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery.
- Demonstrated organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated good interpersonal and ability to work well in a team.
- Ability to comply with all company policies and procedures, including HS&E plans.
- Current Drivers Licence.
- Senior First Aid Certificate.
- Awareness of working with chemicals.
- Ability to deal with conflict in a satisfactory manner to suit a close knit work environment.
