Electrical Tradesperson

Job Description
About the role: We require an electrician with experience on mobile fleet maintenance to undertake inspection, diagnostic, fault finding and defect elimination of equipment and electrical infrastructure.
It is essential that you have a proficiency certificate in an electrical trade or equivalent qualification with previous experience working as an electrician on heavy earth moving equipment.
Requirements:
- Previous work history and practical experience as an electrician on mine-sites servicing mobile plant.
- Have experience within mining maintenance or with large mobile fleet, on mobile equipment such as CAT / Terex MT4400 electric drive trucks.
- PLC and SCADA Control system experience.
- Current LVR/CPR competency.
- Ability to read and interpret Electrical Schematics.
- Knowledge of conducting safety inspections and completing JSEAs, risk assessments and permits.
- Experience with defect inspections, SAP work management systems.
- A strong commitment to workplace safety procedures and disciplines.
- Drivers licence.
- A commitment to be an effective team player, including a positive attitude towards work and beneficial change and a Continuous Improvement commitment.
- Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail.
