Job Description
Bunkers Beach House is an award-winning beachfront restaurant, located at spectacular Bunker Bay in the South West Region. Our venue is one of the most popular in the South West and we focus on sourcing the very best of West Australian produce. We are known for our professional and knowledgeable service, sustainable WA seafood-focused menu, and toes-in-the-sand ocean view. Our location is ideal for wedding functions on weekend evenings. Bunkers Beach House is looking for enthusiastic hospitality staff to join the team. The ideal candidate is someone who is quick on their toes and a bit of an all-rounder.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prompt, courteous, and friendly service to customers •General bar duties of both barista/ beverage & food handling.
- Must be available weekends and public holidays •Commitment to developing and maintaining excellent service standards.
- Supervising the front-of-house team with a positive, vibrant and passionate leadership style and nurturing a positive workspace.
- Assisting in the training and development of the front of house teams.
- Assisting the manager and kitchen with daily operations to company standards.
- A genuine passion for the hospitality industry, local produce and wine.
- Excellent customer service skills and a vibrant personality.
- Eager to learn and develop.
- Strong interpersonal and English communication skills.
- Previous experience in a front of house position within the hospitality industry.
- Flexibility and availability to work across a rotating roster including holidays and weekends.
- Confident dealing with customer complaints and resolution.
- Current RSA certificate.
- Barista experience is essential.
- Training provided.
- Own transport due to location.
