As an Electrician, you will be responsible for installing and repairing electrical equipment and systems. You will need to have a good knowledge
of electrical wiring and circuitry, as well as of health and safety regulations. Other duties include:
Carrying out a range of electrical tests in accordance with safety requirements
Installing, testing and verifying new and existing equipment and installations, carrying out repairs where necessary
Carrying out rewiring and kitchen and bathroom improvement programmes
Storing and transporting all equipment and plant safely and maintaining it in good working order
Taking part in the Electrical Out-Of-Hours (Salary is £37,000 plus OOH payments, which combined averages between £39,000 - £40,000)

Essential qualifications and experience
18th Edition City and Guilds 2382
Certificate in requirements for Electrical Installations (BS7671)
Level 3 in Electrical Installations
Experience with domestic repair, installation, maintenance and testing.
Desirable qualification:
City and Guilds 2391 (Inspection, Testing and Certification) or NVQ equivalent, with post qualification experience.
